mpsc source list

नमस्कार! आज मी mpsc  साठी जी पुस्तके वाचली होती त्याची source list तुमच्यासोबत share करणार आहे

सर्वात महत्वाचा disclaimer यात असा आहे कि प्रयेकाची बुक लिस्ट हे थोड्या फार प्रमाणात वेगळी असू शकेल. त्यामुळे माझा शब्द म्हणजे काही काळ्या दगडावरची रेघ अशातला काही भाग नहि. ! मात्र एका broad level  ला माझ्यामते तरी blog वर contribute करणाऱ्या माझ्या सहकार्यांच्या बुक लिस्ट मध्ये आणि माझ्याबुक लिस्ट मध्ये जे commom sources असतील ते अगदीच refer करता येऊ शकतील.


MPSC Prelims ( mostly the same sources as used for UPSC prelims)

- 11th and 12th std old ncert's of ancient,medieval, and modern Indian history
-new Ncert's themes in Indian history all 3 parts
-Spectrum modern Indian history(the best book for revision)
-for Maharashtra history refer 11th std state board textbook

2)Geography:
-9th to 12th std Ncert's
-G.C. Leong world physical geograhy
-Atlas
-Saudi maharashtra bhugol
-4th and 9th std state board textbooks

3)Social and economic development
-Ranjan Kolambe economics
-Sriram Ias notes
-Mrunal.org website economics articles from archives

4)Science:
-8th to 12th std NCERT's as well as state board science textbooks
-topics not covered from above source can be covered from Wizard science and/or Lucent Science

5)Environment
-12th std biology ncert last 4 chapters
-Shankar Ias notes

6)Polity
- M. Laxmikanth

7) Current affairs
- India- The Hindu and Indian Express
-Maharashta Times or : Loksatta
refer Unique bulletin towards the end

CSAT:
I had referred
R.S.Aggarwal Verbal and non verbal reasoning
R.S.Aggarwal Quantitative aptitute
for comprehension i would recommend solving previous years' MPSC csat papers along with test papers of various classes.

1) General studies 1
History:
-11th and 12th std old ncert's of ancient,medieval, and modern Indian history
-new Ncert's themes in Indian history all 3 parts
-Spectrum modern Indian history(the best book for revision)
-for Maharashtra history refer 11th std state board textbook
-Grover history selected chapters(1757-1857 and governors related chapters)
-Y.N.Kadam history chapters not covered from previous sources

Geogaphy
-9th to 12th std Ncert's
-G.C. Leong world physical geograhy
-Atlas
-Saudi mpsc bhugol (there are two books one for sti etc i guess and another for mpsc)
 -4th and 9th std state board textbooks

2)General studies 2
-Indian constitution part: M.Laxmikanth
-Maharashtra polity from Unique Rajyaghatna part 1
-remaining part from Unique Rajyaghatna part 2
-Acts: ACTS must be done by dowloading and reading latest pdf files of all acts (with all amendments done till now included) and den taking out notes from these pdf's

3)General studies 3
-HRD by Ranjan Kolambe
- India Year Book ( all chapters first to last ,read and take out notes and den revise only the notes. and plz read the official govt version of India Year book and not any other version)
- syllabus point wise websites of various ministries of the Govt of India (for eg tribal affairs topic visit ministry of tribal affairs website). u will find various government schemes in detail on these websites.
-Lokrajya magazine for Maharashtra govt schemes as well as Maharashtra's latest Economic survey

4)General studies 4
Economics:
-Ranjan Kolambe economics
-Kiran desle deepstambh economics book
-Sriram Ias notes
-Maharashtra's latest Economic survey(very important)
Agriculture: Ranjan Kolambe selective topics according to syllabus points as well as agri topics from Saudi bhugol
Science:
-Ranjan Kolambe Science
-8th to 12th std NCERT's as well as state board science textbooks
-topics not covered from above source can be covered from Wizard science and/or Lucent Science
-Internet for remaining topics

English: Wren and Martin is a good source for grammar
Marathi: Walambe for grammar

Ok thats it from me! most important thing for MPSC is minimum but basic sources and maximum revision. revising what you have read for maximum number of times is very crucial for the exam
